At affordable prices (even for students) the siblings Ben and Gret offer a variety of culinary delights from all over the world in their cosy shop at Barnstorfer Weg 3 near the central “Doberaner Platz”. The wooden interior and the warm light of the bistro make you feel like spending some spare time in a snuggery. You’ll find different tasty homemade Mexican burritos, bagels, French quiches, Indian soups, Portuguese pastel de nata, desserts, coffee and wine to enjoy…also for take away.
What I like most about this little bistro is the changing offer of quiches and soups. Try the carrot coconut soup, an Indish dal soup, a traditional quiche Loraine or a spinach fetta quiche. No matter what you choose, I bet you will love the taste and the quality of your meal. Also for the vegetarians and vegans “Bensel & Gretels” has a lot on offer. Enjoy the chili sin carne or the vegan chocolate cake. It’s too delicious – even if you’re a vegan or not! To complete each meal at my favourite bistro in Rostock, I always choose a coffee speciality that ranges from high-quality espresso to cappuccino or soy latte which makes you feel like sitting in a café in Italy.
