The Night Watchman takes you on his patrol and tells you about his job in times long gone. Starting his turn at St. Peter’s Church he takes you through the oldes and most historic part of Rostock – the Eastern Old City – and knows to present a lot of stories and anecdotes from the Middle Ages and Renaissance but also has interesting information about this day and age.

So if you want to learn about Slavs and Henry the Lion, about old regulations of the senate, about the danger of fire and the great city burning of 1677, loose wantons and first speed limits:

Public Tours are held in German and take Place Mondays (all the year) Fridays and Sundays (May-October) and Saturdays (November-April) respectively at 08:00pm. The price is 7.50€ p.P. You can buy Tickets from the nightwatch man just prior to the tour or before at ROSTOCK TOURISTIK.
