I grew up in Schleswig, a lovely town in the north of Germany with a viking background. After my graduation in 2008, I spent a year in Cork ( the REAL capitol of Ireland ;) ) as an Au-pair and my family was just brilliant! Then I moved to Rostock and I fell in love with this great city. Rostock has a lot to offer and you can reach most of it by walking. After a busy day at university it´s fab relaxing at the beach and enjoy the great student clubs. So try to make the most of your stay!
